YIN YOGA

Gently works the body’s connective tissue through a series of slow, deep stretches focusing on the hips, spine and lower back.

Yin draws you inwards and is a wonderful practice for your mental and emotional wellbeing. A slower practice to open the body, it helps to increase mobility, particularly in the joints, where nearly half of your flexibility originates.

Particularly for yang people, those busy, stressed and tight, Yin yoga can help to create and maintain a balanced body and lifestyle.

YIN & YANG YOGA

Power yoga / yang flow styles of yoga target the muscles, cardiovascular system, employing rhythmic, repetitive movements to stress the fibres and cells of the muscles.

Being elastic and moist, the muscles appreciate this form of exercise.

We combine this with Yin Yoga, which is quiet and centred, focusing on our body’s connective tissue. Both Yin & Yang practiced together are a perfect blend. In our Yang practice there are always aspects of Yin, finding ease in our practice, breathing mindfully while in a challenging sequence.

All forms of yoga can be described as yin or yang based, depending on the tissues of the body that it targets. A practice focusing on exercising the muscles and circulating blood is Yang. A practice that focuses on the connective tissues and cultivating stillness is Yin.

Cancellation policy: To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel your class, we respectfully request at least 24hrs notice.

Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24hrs, will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services.
